This is a great swing! Not only does it look good, but it is durable and reliable. We used this for the first six months of our child's life, and never had any problems. Mechanically it was sound. We only had to use one set of batteries. It has several speeds to choose from, and it provides a smooth ride. It has the typical Graco safety straps, so we never had to worry that our little girl would fall out. It has a comfortable seat. There are several choices of sounds and music that helped sooth her when she was fussy, and many times this swing rescued us when we couldn't think of any other way to keep her from crying. If I could think of any problem, it would be that it makes a slight click each time it rocks. Very quiet otherwise. The mobile arm swings away and the tray opens up for easy access to the baby. There are 3 reclining positions to help the baby either sit up and watch what's going on or lay back and go to sleep. We love Graco products and couldn't have been happier with our purchase!

This swing is PERFECT. I read a lot of reviews before picking this one out, and I'm happy I did. We've been using it since birth, and my son is now 4 months old. We haven't yet changed the batteries. When my son was born (6 pounds) the swing, at top speed, was a little too fast. Now that he is bigger (13 pounds) it has slowed down just a tiny bit so that the top speed is perfect. It does make a gentle clicking sound, but in my eyes that is part of the rhythm that puts my son to sleep. The music is great - there must be 10 or 12 different songs. And the nature sounds (heart beat, white noise, rain forest, birds chirping) are all great. When my son had colic, putting him in the swing and turning on the white noise was all that would calm him. The seat has a bunch of different positions, but so far we have only used it fully reclined. The seat cover is removable and can be washed, though we have never needed to. Finally, it was even pretty easy to assemble. I did it by myself when I was 8 months pregnant, and it only took 30 minutes or so. I love this swing, and I will be keeping it for our future children.

This swing takes up a lot of room, and we don't have a particularity small house. It seems to work OK. The knob indicates that there are variable speeds, but it seems to me like the poor thing can barely function let alone go faster or slower. The music is nice in that is plays full songs instead of repeating the same 10 bars over and over, which can lead to insanity. I wouldn't buy this swing again.
