I've had this swing for about a month now after buying it at Baby's R Us before it was released on Amazon so I was really taking a chance with this one. I was looking at just about every swing I could. I initially was looking into the Fisher-Price Cradle 'N Swing, My Little Snugabunny because of the features that it offered and even compared it side by side with the Graco. Although the Graco cost more my wife and I just had a gut feeling about it, especially since a lot of the reviews about the Fisher Price machines is that the motor fails. Ultimately though the deciding factor was the design of this swing. It really does look just as good in person as it does in the picture. It uses a sturdy aluminum tube frame that easily snaps together. HOWEVER take note that the overall footprint of this swing is LARGE. I'm not sure if the product dimensions given are of the box it comes in or assembled.Here is a list of pros and cons about the swing so farLPROS: - Comfortable inserts with a smaller removable insert for infants - 2-position back that elevates the baby (about a 20 degree difference, it's not much) - Like a lot of other swings it's got nature sounds and music. - 6-speed dial that offers plenty of range. Level 1 is a gentle push and Level 6 is fast. - 3 positions, facing left, facing right, or straight out. This is great when we want to dim the lights and face our baby away from the TV. - Removable rocker. We don't use this very much but it's nice to have the option. Be warned it's heavy with baby in it (It seems to weigh bout 7-10lbs alone) - Very atractive. - A/C adapter! I know other swings offer this as well but it's still a great feature that some swings lack. - VERY smooth swing action. I mean like butter. - Easy to put on 5-point harness for added safety.CONS: - When it gets settled in to a swing the motor is kinda loud when changing direction. You can hear it knock as it shifts direction. This may not be that bad since it's at least rhythmic. - The mobile doesn't spin or make noises. It just rotates a little bit in either direction and then re-centers. Would have been nice if it did more. - Rocker is heavy to carry around the house and it's tall. I'm 5'-9" and when I carry it it's about 6" from the ground. - Not a portable swing. When you set this up you leave it there. It can be shifted around the house but you're not gonna wanna take it to grandmas.If I ever get around to it I'll post up a video review of the swing as well. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. The only thing I worry about (and this goes for any swing) is the longevity of the motor. But as far as build quality elsewhere, this thing feels built to last. I also like the color scheme as it's unisex. This is great since we're on our first and we never know if we'll be getting another girl or a boy but rest assured we won't need another swing.

Let me preface this review by stating I also own the Fisher-Price Cradle 'N Swing, My Little Snugabunny.This swing took me over an hour to put together. The directions were very confusing at times and the diagrams are not very clear. I was better off going on instinct instead of relying on the directions for guidance.I found the light frame, which is probably made from aluminum or steel, to be unstable at times. The frame doesn't provide the support needed for this type of swing.It lacks features that would be nice to have. For example, it only offers one type of music that can be played and the little mobile with the animals that hangs down doesn't rotate. It's stationary. I thought babies enjoyed looking at things that move?There is a vibration option on this swing's seat, but it can be very noisy, especially if the seat is placed on a hard wood floor. Additionally, I wouldn't want to put the seat on my hard wood floor for fear of scratching the floor...metal on wood.The Fisher Price model, which I also own was much easier to put together, has a much more stable frame, and offers more features - including four different types of music and a swinging mobile. It doesn't offer the vibration, but when you compare the price of the Graco vs. the Fisher Price there's no competition.I would not recommend this swing, at least not at the price currently listed.

Prior to getting this swing and rocker device, we've tried (and liked) Fisher-Price Cradle 'N Swing, My Little Snugabunny and Fisher-Price Infant-To-Toddler Rocker. This Graco product seems to combine these two devices into one, which can be a great space-saver, although it (right now) costs more than the other two combined. Overall, I like this swing, but there are a few features that seem inferior to the Snugabunny.Pros:This swing, as well as swings in general, are a godsend to parents who are trying to calm and sooth theirThe seat looks and feels very comfortable.The unisex design is suitable for both boys and girls, so you can use the same swing with children of different genders.The rocker is easy to take out and put back in, and it's very sueful and portable. Definitely an improvement over the Fisher-Price ricker, although it can be pretty heavy to carry around, especially with an infant inside.Cons:Not easy to assemble.The construction seems more flimsy than the Fisher-Price model. It looks like it could be easily nocked over or damaged if you accidentally bump into it.There is only one kind of music that it can play.The hanging dolls don't move.I've had some problems with the swinging motor failing over time in my Fisher-Price swing, but so far I have not had any trouble with this one. If anything changes in that regard I'll update this review.I still think I prefer my Snugabunny and if you are just shopping for a swing I would recommend that product instead.
